Forgiveness For Me
by Marcia Menefield, 2022
Forgiveness is a process. We can speak scriptures often however, believing in your heart and being intentional in letting go of the offense whether to yourself or others it takes time. The Holy Spirit will help you. Just ask Him with a pure heart and with God confidence we are convinced you will be released from unforgiveness. At times, additional support may be needed; seek Godly counsel with a proven record of integrity, spiritual guidance, and love. Freedom is releasing all control to God for your complete healing.
Focus Scriptures:
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:31-32 NKJV
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. If you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV
Make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Colossians 3:13 NKJV
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
Luke 6:37 NKJV
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
I John 1:9 NKJV
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
I Corinthians 13:4-6 NKJV
Forgiveness Prayer: Father, thank you for forgiving me as I forgive others and release
them! I receive and believe your word, when I forgive others, you are a just God that
will forgive me. I even forgive myself as I walk this forgiveness process out. In the
Name of Jesus!
